Susan Johnson Mumford is deemed as “one of London’s youngest gallery entrepreneurs.”

Following years of experience in both retail management and several London commercial galleries, as well as curating exhibitions in London in 2003 and 2004, Susan gained her M.A. in Art Policy and Management in 2004. She formed Mumford Fine Art as a private art dealer and opened the current rooftop gallery in April 2006, just after completing the well received exhibition Art Is Why I Get Up in the Morning in March/April 2006, which was rated “No. 1 exhibition of the week” by renowned art critic Rachel Campbell-Johnston. The gallery is now considered one of the “most innovative and thought-provoking” of London’s contemporary art galleries.

The gallery offers and ongoing program of art exhibitions highlighting works by gallery artist starting from very affordable original prints to investment worthy 20th century bronze sculptures. Mumford Fine Art also offers Art Consultancy, which incorporates installing art collections in homes and businesses, advising on expanding collections, evaluating art, repairing art and so on.

The gallery’s currently promoting a new range of art greeting cards, featuring images by gallery artists. They’re perfect for Christmas, with 25% of profits being donated to the Arts Club Charitable Fund (supporting young people in the arts).
